Anyone who attended school in Boone County or had family who did will surely enjoy spending time in the museum's School & Band Room exhibit.
Visitors will note the different types of school desks used over the years. The teacher in the schoolroom display is attired in a 200 year-old Linsey dress, hand-loomed and hand-made.
The Boone County author's showcase along with bookshelves of old textbooks provide a deep insight into local educational history and writings.
Our collection of band instruments includes high school memorabilia, Ding-a-Ling Band hand-made instruments, and other items.
